The cPanel hosting control panel is described as “the web hosting industry’s most reliable, intuitive control panel since 1997” and is the control panel of choice here at Web Age. Each of our hosting accounts includes access to cPanel where the account holder can carry out many useful tasks to manage their website or email, and much more. We’ve put together a short video guide so you can see what’s included and where to get started with cPanel.

If you have a hosting account with us, your cPanel web hosting control panel can either be accessed from your main client account at https://clients.webage.net, or directly via the domain name for your website. This will take the form of either https://cpanel.mydomain.com or https://mydomain.com/cpanel – each will work, with mydomain.com of course being substituted with your actual domain name.

Your username and password are issued when you sign up for an account. If you don’t know the password, you can reset it by using the “forgot password” link on the cPanel, or by logging in via clients.webage.net.

So, when you have logged in, watch the following video to gain an overview of cPanel features including:

  • The File Manager (upload and manage files on your website)
  • DNS management (manage DNS for domain names on the account)
  • Email Account management (how to add new email accounts, set passwords and get device set up information)
  • How to install WordPress with a single click.

We hope this is helpful but please contact us for more information or for further assistance. View the official cPanel documentation  for detailed information and step-by-step instructions on how to carry out numerous tasks in cPanel.

If you don’t already have an account with us, please check out our range of web hosting packages. We also offer a great range of good value web design packages – please check out the selection or contact us to discuss your requirements.
