With over 20 years experience, Room54 are the UK’s premier Public Speakers Bureau supplying a huge choice of expert motivational speakers. Famous speakers on their books range from pre-eminent business people through elite athletes to top comedians. Room54 are long-standing customers of ours and we were therefore delighted to be engaged in web design for this leading motivational speakers agency.
The main goals which were successfully achieved in this project were to provide an updated, easy-to-use CMS. Secondly, to provide responsive design to both enhance usability and presentation, and improve SEO. WordPress seemed the natural choice in both these regards. In addition we developed a custom post type and custom taxonomy. This provides easy back-end entry of speaker profiles along with useful front-end search and categorisation. A home page carousel enhances the speakers directory, custom made to showcase some of the most popular speakers available at Room54.
Working closely with the team at Room54 throughout the entire life-cycle of the project ensured the site was produced to their precise preferences. This collaborative approach included a particular focus on improving the size and quality of images and presenting information in a clear, concise and consistent way. Long-term, the aim is to ensure better search engine rankings and increase customer engagement with easy-to-use enquiry forms and accessible information.
